Objective
To outline a transparent, standardized, and scalable framework for the affiliation of schools, study centers, and institutions to VSOS, and to ensure the development, delivery, and review of curriculum aligned with national standards and local needs.
Affiliation Policy
Eligibility Criteria for Affiliation
| Criteria | Requirement |

| Legal Entity | Registered Trust/Society/Company under relevant Acts |
| Infrastructure | Minimum 2 classrooms, basic labs, internet, admin space |
| Faculty | At least 3 qualified instructors in academic/vocational streams |
| Financial Stability | Audited financials for the last 2 years (if existing) |
| Recognition | Preferably recognized by State/Local Government bodies |
Types of Affiliation

| Regular Affiliation | For full academic + skill course delivery |
| Skill-Only Affiliation | For ITIs, NSQF centers offering only vocational modules |
| Digital Center | For online/blended delivery in remote areas |
| Franchise/Study Center | Operates under a Lead Partner with monitoring |
Affiliation Process
- Step 1: Online Application via VSOS Portal
- Step 2: Document Verification
- Step 3: Physical/Virtual Inspection
- Step 4:Provisional Affiliation (1 year)
- Step 5:Full Affiliation upon compliance report
Affiliation Validity & Renewal
- Provisional Affiliation: Valid for 1 year
- Full Affiliation: 3 years (renewable)
- Renewal: Based on academic performance, compliance, and enrollment track
Compliance & Monitoring
- Annual audits (academic & infrastructure)
- Surprise inspections
- Submission of self-assessment reports
- Suspension or withdrawal in case of violation
