Duties of Affiliated Institutions

Accreditation Policy

To ensure that institutions affiliated with VSOS maintain academic integrity, instructional quality, infrastructure, and compliance with national standards.

Assessment Mechanism
- Self-evaluation by the institution
- External Evaluation by VSOS-appointed Accreditation Team
- Scoring based on a 100-point rubric (minimum 70 for full accreditation)
- Grading:
- A+: 90–100
- A: 80–89
- B: 70–79
- C: <70 (Needs Improvement)

Withdrawal & Suspension
Affiliation/accreditation may be suspended or withdrawn in cases of:
- Fraud or data misrepresentation
- Repeated non-compliance
- Violation of learner rights
- Political or unethical conduct
Policy Governance
- Managed by the VSOS Affiliation & Accreditation Committee
- Reports submitted to the Board’s Governing Body
- Reviewed every 3 years or as per government policy changes
