Examination & Certification Policy
Purpose
To ensure a transparent, flexible, inclusive, and outcome-based system of examinations and certifications that integrates academic learning with vocational skills, as per National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Credit Framework (NCrF 2023).
Examination Philosophy
- Competency-based and not solely memory-based
- Flexible modes: Written, oral, practical, project-based
- Multiple attempts: Within a fixed validity period
- Blended assessment: Online + offline evaluation systems
- Inclusivity: Accommodations for special needs students

Certification Norms
- Minimum 33% in academics, 50% in vocational subjects.
- Must secure an overall credit score of 100+ (per NCrF).
- Separate certification for Academic, Vocational, and Integrated Track.
- Certificates issued with:
- NSQF level
- NCrF credit tally
- Subject-wise performance
- QR Code & ABC ID verification

Timeline and Schedule
- Academic Exam Cycle: June & December
- Skill-Based Assessment: March & September

Moderation, Review & Appeals
- Moderation Committee for uniform evaluation
- Review option within 30 days of result declaration

- Encrypted digital exams and data storage
- Invigilation via AI + human proctors (for online mode)
- Unique candidate IDs to prevent impersonation
- Adherence to Data Privacy Laws (DPDP Act 2023)
